Meet Green & Blue
Green & Blue is based in the beautiful seaside town of Perranporth in Cornwall, UK, co-founded in 2005 by husband and wife team Kate and Gavin Christman. After years working at Dyson and designing in their spare time, Kate and Gavin created the Birdball and moved down to Cornwall to start the company. Working from a garden shed for a few years the couple followed their passion of designing beautiful, stylish products that help wildlife.
DESIGN THE WAY NATURE INTENDED.
Today we have swapped shed for studio and our own workshop unit but that passion remains at the heart of everything we do. We care about innovation, the simplicity of design and products that help us all to make the changes necessary to protect our environment for future generations. Our name comes from childhood memories of rolling green hills and clear blue skies, and good times!
A BUSINESS WITH A PURPOSE
In November 2018 we became a certified B Corporation. B Corporations (or B Corps) are a growing group of companies who are reinventing business, by pursuing purpose as well as profit. We have been certified by B Lab as having met rigorous social and environmental standards which represent our commitment to goals beyond that of profit. We are joining a growing community of fantastic and inspiring businesses working to use our companies as a force for good.
GIVE NATURE A HOME
We believe passionately that every new house built needs to provide a home for wildlife as well as for us. With so many species in decline we have to rethink the way we plan, build and manage both housing and within our own gardens.
