Valuing people, the planet and prosperity are the driving forces for all of our creations at Eartha Underwear. In fact, these are inbuilt in everything we do. We call this ‘sustainable design’ and it goes far beyond the physical product it is the main focus at every stage of our supply chain, from ensuring the farmers producing the fabrics are paid and work in safe condition to limiting the impact on marine life when the garment is washed by consumers.
Product designed to last. They are not trend-led, they are staples. To be worn and washed again and again. Eartha pieces are made thoughtfully and designed with great detail focusing on the needs of the customer. Therefore, it takes time to develop each and every collection, there is nothing ‘fast fashion’ about it and all collections are available in limited runs and rarely replaced when sold out. Our products are made locally and to order, ensuring we only produce as many pieces as we need to prevent waste. Any samples made are cut up and reused to design new styles from.
Eartha products are carefully packaged in plastic free packaging, each of which has its own sustainable story. For instance, our care tags are made from residual fibres and elephant dung which provides an extra income for elephant sanctuaries in India.
